Birth Announcement

birth announcement1 Birth Announcement

Here is a recent birth announcement I did for my sister-in-law. Aren’t the kids adorable?! You can’t help but have a good design if you have a good looking subject matter. ;)

I simply used photoshop to edit a couple of snapshots she e-mailed me and designed a 4×6 card that they could email or print. It took less than a couple of hours to do the whole thing from start to finish. I created each polka dot indvidually but on the same layer, then used the blending options to make them look like they were actually an original part of the background pattern.

Fonts are a huge part of my design work, and they are so important to the over all look. I have over 800 fonts installed on my computer currently and am always happy to add more!
